The tutors, Dr. Butt and Dr. Ahmed were very thorough with the topics. The face to face and telephone consultations that they have done, gave me a very clear picture of how the exam is going to be. They also help webinars for the students, and were very gentle and kind to us. All the topics are covered in this course. There isn't a lot of unwanted or extra information here. It is very crisp and to the point, which makes it all the more better! The approaches to different stations are explained in a tabular form, which makes it easier to understand. As Dr. Butt and Dr. Ahmed are ex-OSCE examiners and actually practicing GPs, it makes the consultation videos even more interesting. We are getting first hand information from such experienced doctors! Even though this course and this platform is relatively new, they have rolled out some really good features such as Discussion boxes on each section and also a community interaction page! The team is quick to respond to any doubts or queries we have. TrewLink PLAB 2 course team was very supportive and responsive. Initially, I had some issues with the volume setting, but in the later videos, that was taken care of. If you graduated from a medical school outside of the UK, European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland, you will probably need to take the PLAB test.
PLAB 2 is a practical objective structured clinical exam, known as an OSCE. It consists of 16 scenarios, each lasting 8 minutes, and aims to reflect real-life settings including a mock consultation or an acute ward. There will be at least 2 rest stations, allowing you to take breaks. The whole PLAB 2 exam will take around 3 hours. The exam can be taken only in Manchester, UK. COVID-19 pandemic has changed the number of PLAB places released throughout the year with some places being cancelled or significantly postponed. The GMC takes all necessary steps to increase the number of places where possible. So if you planning on taking the PLAB exams, it is worth checking for regular updates from the GMC here.

The exams are held at the GMC offices in Manchester, 3 Hardman Street Manchester M3 3AH, within purpose-built OSCE rooms. There are 16 stations including 2 rest stations. The cost is £879.
